I had painted and posted this work as a miniature acrylic, but enjoy doing the same view in pastel. Here is a 12 x 16 version....the summer heat and the cool of shade...both bring a sensual pleasure. This is a simple scene near Winthrop in Eastern Washington in late summer. It is available at Whidbey Art Gallery in Langley, Washington.
